Acceptable Use Policy
These standards are designed to protect families, children, connections, accounts, and the service from misuse while leaving families broad freedom to use their App in ways that fit them.
1. Purpose
Our Family App is intended to help families communicate, organize, preserve memories, share appropriate content, and maintain controlled connections. Users must use the service lawfully and responsibly.
2. Prohibited Content and Conduct
- Illegal activity or content that violates applicable law.
- Threats, credible violence, stalking, harassment, bullying, or targeted intimidation.
- Sexual exploitation, sexual abuse material, or inappropriate sexual content involving minors.
- Fraud, impersonation, scams, phishing, malicious software, or unauthorized account access.
- Content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, or other legal rights.
- Doxxing, publication of highly sensitive personal information without authorization, or deliberate privacy violations.
- Using the service to evade lawful parental, guardian, or Family Admin controls.
- Attempts to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, compromise, or abuse the service or its infrastructure.
3. Family and Connection Responsibilities
Families are responsible for deciding who belongs in their Family App, what Social Connections receive access, what content is public or private, and what permissions are appropriate. Users should respect another person's privacy and family-established boundaries.
4. Enforcement
We may remove access, restrict features, preserve relevant records, or suspend or terminate accounts when reasonably necessary to address serious or repeated violations, fraud, security threats, unlawful conduct, or risks to users or the service.
